This is the sad and painful true-life story of author Boneka lefele. Her pain is raw and her heart is wounded. Life is a beautiful thing to those with caring and loving families with a strong bond but life has never been kind to Boneka whose challenges left her with little if any choice along life’s path. Poverty turned her only family against her. It stole her mom’s and siblings’ love from her and took away her dream of becoming what she wanted to be, leaving her lonely and cold like an abandoned old house. Poverty has left her with wounds that no doctor can heal.

The author’s advice to all readers is to never give up on yourself just because someone else has. If you think that you can do something, don’t ask those nearest and dearest around you what they think; just believe in yourself and do it!
